the local guys - I live in Gauteng, but you're more than welcome to add to
the list:
WMH Dealers - Mickey has a
lot of new spares for all kinds of Jeeps. He also know his story, so you
can speak to him for advice. At Pretoria Off-Road Centre
you can get in touch with the Jeep Club as well. If they don't have a
part, they are normally willing to import it for you - if you are willing
to pay! Randburg Auto Paint - Kevin
and Santie has been very helpful with advice on paints and painting - I
get all my paint from them. Four Wheel Drive Club of
South Africa have a lot of get togethers and have a great base camp on the
way to Hartebeespoortdam. A must if you are an off-road fan, and a great
place to meet people to talk to about your project, and get advice. 4X4 Warehouse Accessories
Centre - they have all the goodies from extra tanks to roof tents, you
name it. Bullbars, jerry cans, refrigerators - all types of accessories
for all kinds of 4x4s. Kit Car Centre has a kit
called the Freeranger - it's a Jeep CJ7 look alike (I think) made from
fibre glass, with inner steel reinforcements. This page will get more items added as I get the info. |
