Itoshima High School

Windsor Park Collegiate first opened its doors in September 1960. Initially, it housed approximately 650 students in grades 7 to 12 with a staff of about 35 teachers servicing the new and growing community of Windsor Park. The closing of Louis Riel Collegiate saw the Francais Partiel Programme being transferred to Windsor Park Collegiate. The population of the school peaked in the early 1970's at around 1,000 students and today stands at around 480 students with a professional staff of about 30. The last two years have seen significant changes at W.P.C. with many long-time teachers retiring. A younger teaching force, in partnership with our community, is facing the challenges presented by educational reform in the 21st century with renewed energy and community
