Founders Day
The ePlex Lobby was the place to be Saturday June 19th for a
Founder's Day celebration. Accolades from city and colony representatives liberally acknowledged
SFX and
Hawk. What they had begun soon took on a life of its own and evolved over the course of six years. There was a healthy turnout for the ceremonies, which marked the first city event in a long while.
Petite_Artist in new wings & me newly ElderVialle was among those who had been around during the days of Colony City, and remarked how the world developed around her as she lived in CT and continues to change. As many of you know, Vialle has recently become the customer support representative at IVN. I'm sure many of you have had the pleasure of her assistance by E-mail or phone if not as one of CT's Caretakers.
Vialleeditme decided to make a humorous fashion statement by dressing up in a Santa Claus suit. Actually it was rather apropos considering the following day was the first day of winter for the southern hemisphere...

R: editme sweltering in a Santy suitJason_RC had read Mayor Jolinth's speech, but as it turned out Jo was able to make it in time for the second part of the proceedings. So following the tribute and sufficient gawking at some very high experience points, Hawk named Oherra as CT's newest Caretaker, then announced the Hump Award recipients:

cheercoach Plans were revealed regarding memberships and job prospects in the future which sounded promising for many dedicated Cytonians, and a more immediate update: a Background URL field for our 2D homes in Personal Info now exists!
