Houstonia caerulea

Bluets are a low growing, delicate plant with bluish flowers that are members of the Bedstraw Family (Rubiaceae). They bloom from April to June on Grassy Slopes and lawns, in fields and thickets. They are found in the eastern half of North America from Ontario south to Georgia and west Missouri. These flowers are also called Innocence or Quaker-ladies.
