Welcome to the Half-Life section. Half-Life came about in 1998, and along with it came one of the most involving storylines a videogame could have. The main character is Mr. Freeman, a scientist at the Black Mesa research complex in New Mexico. His day starts off as ordinary and boring, until a huge mistake in an undergoing experiment changes the lives of every employee, from scientists to security personnel, of the Black Mesa Research Facility. Before you know it, you're playing the role of Freeman, a scientist that has to "go Rambo" and save the Complex from the disaster.
There are many weapons, some realistic and some of the alien type. The enviornment is extremely interactive. For example, you can make friends with a security guard that will help you out, talk to a scientist to give you medication, and even operate mounted machine guns and grenade launchers throughout the game.
