WELL, WUDDA YOU KNOW? -deadeye- For those of you "RareDark Veterans", you probably remember my Perfect Dark Gun Modification Guide, which was the first ever such guide on the internet. Visitors happily created awesome custom guns: until some losers came along and deleted the entire website. Guess what. Yeah. The guide still exists! Thanks to a fellow named John Paul McCord, I can bring back my guide. You see, Johnny modified it slightly, customized the words (I would never use the term "clip" because a "clip" and a "magazine" are not the same thing) and posted it in a Google.com club. Well, click here to start customizing the weapons in Perfect Dark again!

A GALLANT RETURN -deadeye- Anyone miss me? Of course I probably won't totally abandon my own site, but I won't be around too much anymore. I actually didn't leave because of all the immature e-mail I was getting. It was mainly those two words: Life and Time. Yeah, I have a life to live. Places to go, people to meet, a girlfriend that needs me, etc.
Just one notice, though. I will be getting a beta section up. I will be finishing-up the "Real Gaming Guns" special. I will be putting another mailbag up. And I will be getting more PD2 info from my Insider (well, hopefully). One last thing I'm concerned about: the "RareDark.com" domain name will be expiring in the coming months, so I'll have to obviously reregister it for like 8 bucks or something (yeah, I'm cheap, I know ;-). Just incase it expires before I get around to reregistering, you can use this following address: http://RareDark.cjb.net. Oh, and check out Shark SWL's newest completed project: Can any other game be more perfect?
RAREDARK! -Shark Swl- Everybody. Shark Swl here. I dont know about you, but it makes me sick. Everyone that works here is very responsible. Deadeye is a great guy. Its so sad seeing him leave or taking a break just because someone was Jelous. I dont know about you, but, its prety dumb that somone would cares out a site Just because he was Jelous Im here, and also all the other Volunteers. I want Deadeye back!
DARK WILL ALWAYS BE DARK! -Shark Swl- Hey everybody! I would love to add more Perfect Dark misc in the other pages. If you people out there got some stuff to share, eh, email and submit it, as giving you credit. Also, some more PD0 info coming in!

DESIGN PERFECT DARK ZERO! -Glockem- I just got a pretty good idea. Seeing that PDZ's release is about one year away, we've got some time to kill until some official info comes. Knowing this, I'm currently setting up a special section for the site where YOUR ideas for levels, weapons, simulants, characters, and anything else will be put-up for all to read and drool over. Keep coming back to see when this new section will be up. Maybe I can get Deadeye to give some ideas.
NEWEST COLUMN -Glockem- Sorry about not updating earlier. I totally forgot about this site. Deadeye is right, this site is a lot of work ;). Anyway, a good new column by Dylan Stadler about the mood of games.

HALLO -Glockem- Hey, this is one of Deadeye's good buddies. He doesn't seem to have enough time and plus he's tired of working on this site. I don't blame him. He works like three part-time jobs and he goes to some military thing pretty much every weekend. Anyway, he showed me how to keep his site in order, so I'll probably pretty much take over. He also told me that Shark, one of the staff members, would also help out. I see there's a bunch of stuff that needs to be added to the site that he hasn't done, like submitted gun drawings and mailbags and stuff. He mentioned that if you have a question and you want a reply, don't use the form on the "ask deadeye" page! That's for mailbags only and is not formatted for replying to. Well, I'll probably be adding all that stuff during my reign, so keep coming back.

I QUIT -deadeye- I can't stand running this site anymore. I also can't stand some of the stupid e-mails I get every day complaining that "all that PD2 info is bullcrap" and that I made it up. For the millionth time. I AM NOT the author of that info. It is written by someone I "know" and is sent to me. Anyway, this site will stay open. I am getting someone else with more time and more patience to take over for me. Yes, columns will still be added, and yes, new PD2 info will still be added when I get it. Obviously my source hasn't sent me any for a while. Good bye. ~ Deadeye

PD2 INFO -deadeye- For some reason, my source hasn't sent me any new PD2 info for quite a while. Speaking of PD2 info, here is a comment from a visitor that gave me a laugh:
"Your site sucks @ss b*tch ****er. Maybe if you put info that wasn't fake up, I would change my mind"
Hey, I mentioned numerous times that most of the info hasn't been confirmed. And if you (the person quoted) think that I care about what you just said, go take a hike on the highway to hell. That quote was most likely from a jealous gaming site owner. I could care less about what anyone says about something [this site] that is the last priority in my life...
POST THE COLORS -deadeye- The United Sates Government is asking all U.S. citizens to kindly post their American Flags for the next thirty days to pay respect and courtesy to the country and to those who have died in these horrid terrorist attacks. I have been doing so myself since the day of the attack.

MESSAGE BOARD UP AGAIN -deadeye- Oddly enough, the message board went down along with the World Trade Center towers. Well, actually it was having some server problems. That is fixed now. Visit the message board. I, along with most other sane people, am hoping that those bastards responsible for yesterday's happenings will be found and killed on-the-spot.

ATTACK ON AMERICA -deadeye- I'd just like to take a moment of silence for the victims of the terrorist acts on the U.S. earlier today. I hope that we find out who was responsible for this so we can neutralize the bastard(s). Again, best of luck to the friends and family of every one of the victims of this unnecesary attack. Long-Live America.

DECISION MADE -deadeye- After only 24 hours, I have come to a decision. This site will stay open somehow. What convinced me was the numorous e-mails begging me not to close it and the poll, showing that 85% out of the 50-something votes conducted throughout 24 hours saying to keep the site open. Two of you said to close it, I think four of you said you don't give a crap, and two said you'd take over.
I will attempt to put-up all of your submitted stuff, as well as get Shark SWL (my new head staff member) situated so he can work. A huge beta section is also coming along nicely, and should be up probably sometime this month or next. I've gotten many questions about PD2 news... I put up PD2 news as soon as my contact sends more to me, which he hasn't done for a while, but as he is in a University, I can imagine that he cannot get around to the PC too much.

SAD BUT TRUE -deadeye- Woops, made a little type in the date of the last update. Fixed it, though. I have been extremely busy lately. So busy, in fact, that I just don't have much free time anymore, and when I do get free time, I'd rather hang out with my friends or something than waste it typing-up crap for this site... So what I'm trying to say is, I might either get someone to completely take over, or drop the site. There is a little catch, however. Later this month I may have enough free time to put up everybody's submitted things, mailbags, and PD2 news in a RareDark "Grand Reopening", so please, keep checking back everyday. Remember, I have not made a final decision on whether or not to drop the site, so don't be discouraged. Before I make any decisions, I want some feedback. If you have any comments, please send them to me at deadeye@raredark.com. Thanks!

WHY-A NO-A UP-A-DATES? -deadeye- As you can obviously tell from the lack of updating, I've been a pretty darn busy guy, and as I've said many times before, this website comes last on my "to do" list. Don't be discouraged, however. I will be added some new columns and such shortly, and maybe even some new PD2 news soon.

MORE PD2 INFO ON THE WAY -deadeye- I got around to requesting more info from my source, so hopefully I'll get more out of him. Adding onto that, I'm currently working on a page summarizing all of the latest PD2 info, which I will complete shortly. My summary of the info will also be viewable at PDZero.com.

WHY? -deadeye- I've been getting e-mails asking "Why wasn't PD0 at Spaceworld?" Hey, I don't know. Because RareWare came to a final decision that Japan isn't the best place to reveal the game. I can almost guarantee we'll see PD0 at the next E3, where they seem to be more interested in showing-off their stuff (not that stuff...)

GOLDENEYE ANNIVERSARY -deadeye- Four years ago today the popular and revolutionary (at the time) N64 game Goldeneye 007 hit the shelves. Wow. Seems like only yesterday when I played it for the first time.
SNAZY -deadeye- One of our affiliates, RareShooters, has gotten a tight new layout. I recommend checking it out.

THE POSTMAN HAS ARRIVED -deadeye- Can you believe it? I finally finished last week's mailbag. I think I can get by with calling it "this week's" mailbag. Sorry about the delay. Anyway:

YOU 'BETA' GET CRACKIN' -deadeye- Did someone say beta? I'm currently working on a special about the beta versions of Perfect Dark. It's going to be huge. It'll have more information on the beta versions of PD than you'll be able to handle. Hopefully I'll finish it sometime before this month is over. On a side note, yeah, I'll try to get this week's mailbag up by the end of the day. I still have to answer some last-minute questions.
