IT'S COMING... -deadeye- Tomorrow is the big day for GAMECUBE fans. However, be sure to check with your stores today to see if they're selling yet, if you recall the news from Nintendo last week saying that stores are allowed to sell their shipments before the 18th. I will not be getting a Cube until later because I really don't feel like going through all the hassle to get it.
On a side note, I am currently changing the site around slightly. Since there is a rediculous amount of links, I'm currently working on a "categories" system. For example, when you visit this here mainpage, it will be the same other than the fact that the left navbar will have the links: Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark 2, etc. After clicking on, say, Perfect Dark 2, you will be brought to the Perfect Dark Zero mainpage, and all of the PD2 links will be seen at the left side.

LEARN EVEN MORE ABOUT YOUR CUBE -deadeye- Here at RareDark.com you can now find the latest specifications of the GAMECUBE. Click here for the technical specs., here for display capabilities, and here for sound specs.
CUBES SELL EARLY -deadeye- In case you haven't noticed by now, Nintendo has given stores throughout North America the go for selling GAMECUBES as soon as they receive their first shipments. That means you can head-on over to your local stores in the next couple of days instead of next week, so definitely take advantage of this. CUBES are in very high demand right now.
GET TO KNOW THE CUBE -deadeye- There are a lot of accessories for the GAMECUBE, so I put together an image (170 k) that you can look at as a guide too see a sample of some of the accessories. Click here to see the accessories.

IMPORTANT NOTICE Just a few announcements that need to be made: today is the 226th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, and tomorrow is Veteran's Day, as well as the two-month anniversary of the WTC and Pentagon attacks. Now, for a notice concerning this website, my domain will be expiring on this same date, so please remember to use RareDark.cjb.net if RareDark.com does not work. I will hopefully be re-registering RareDark.com. If you have any questions, e-mail me at my temporary address at deadeye@safe-mail.net or contact me on Instant Messenger with my screen name, skorpion0006.
MAILBAG AND GUN CREATIONS -deadeye- Obviously, mailbag questions have piled-up like dung in my inbox, and I still need to answer them and set-up a new mailbag. I am extremely sorry for not being able to answer all of your questions right away (some are dated from August!), but I will eventually get them up. The same goes with some great gun creations you all have submitted. And one notice, please do not send any mailbag questions until November 13, due to my mailbox address changing in the next few days.
BIG UPDATE -deadeye- The new Bits and Bobs of the News section has been updated with a second page. Check it out!

BACK-- AGAIN -Glockem- I am back yet again, and this time with a little gift. Apparantly, Deadeye had a completed page with eight Perfect Dark Zero screenshots on it. He must've forgotten to inform all of you about it, seeing that we didn't have a PDZ screenshots page for ages. Oh, and don't go jumping for joy, these are the old Spaceworld screenshots. Soon, though, we'll be getting certain "new" screenshots online, hopefully. That's iffy, though. Oh, don't forget to check out the screenshots page.
GET A HALF-LIFE -deadeye- This may not be PD-related, but hey. For those of you who play or have played the PC version of Half-Life, you may want to check this out. With various cheats, I created a nice little arsenal. Nothing too great, but if you're bored, it'll pass some time. Check this out.

SLOW-MO -deadeye- I haven't gotten a scan of that Japanese magazine yet, unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to get something. On another note, I held a GameCube disk today in my hands, and my, it's much smaller than I thought. If I can, I'll try to get my hands on one of those demo disks and I'll take some comparative pictures to put up.

WANT YOU BAD -deadeye- Somebody is obviously looking at stealing my rather unique domain name. Whoever wants my domain also registered RareDark.net as well as RareDark.org. The problem is, my RareDark.com domain will be expiring shortly, so I'll have to race the clock and reregister before this bastard gets a chance to steal. If he does take it, I'll just have to resort to suing (I actually spent money and bought a copyright, ;). Anyway, just in case you try to get here via RareDark.com and the address doesn't work, you'll have to use RareDark.cjb.net.

HAVE A GOOD CRAP-O-WEEN -deadeye- It's that time of year again. When we older folk have to pass out candy as we watch horror movies and get drunk. In other news, Frank of Nintensity got the chance to go to the Gamecube Club last weekend, as well as one of my former affiliates. Check out Frank's description of the Gamecube Club here.

WANT IT? I GOT IT! -deadeye- Yeah, you've been begging and begging for new PERFECT DARK ZERO info. I have it for you. A Japanese gaming magazine revealed some information, and even a beta screenshot. A buddy who goes by Xide has a copy of this magazine. According to him:
Add a dash of HALO, and add a dash of Half Life, then the main ingredients are Perfect Dark and Goldeneye."
This is his personal description of the game according to the information he can translate from the magazine. Here is some of the infomration he has translated: The game is set with a release date of mid-2002 and has an estimate cost of 4800 yen ($40). He is attempting to find someone who can scan this magazine article so we can bring you a sample of that screenshot and text. This newsflash is exclusive to RareDark.com. Keep coming back for the latest updates!
GET CUBED! -deadeye- I'm proud to inform you that one of my "agents" (actually, a staffer of one of our affiliates) will be going to a GAMECUBE show. He will get the chance to play some games and the like. Hopefully, we'll get some info and a short review or two out of him.
