PD2 MULTIPLAYER CLANS? -deadeye-
It is rumored that NINTENDO GAMECUBE will have online multiplayer capabilities. What does this mean? RareWare is one of the best gaming companies when it comes to mutliplayer gameplay, so you can expect Perfect Dark Zero to have online gameplay if capable with the NINTENDO GAMECUBE. In turn, this means many fans will want to start their own online multiplayer teams, better known as "clans". Shortly, I may create my own clan, even though it may be a little early. Better to get a good start on a good clan name anyways. If you are interested in joining my soon-to-be clan or even creating your own clan, by all means let me know, so I can set-up a layout for your clan's website and so I can create a list of Perfect Dark Zero clans.

MORE HALF-LIFE SHOTS -deadeye-
I created some more HL shots for you. Even though it has nothing to do with PD, there's, well, nothing TO do in PD anymore. So, I figured I'd get some of you interested in HL or Counter-Strike until PD0 comes out next year. Here are the shots:

002 | 003 | 004 | 005 | 006 | 007 | 008 | 009

BACK AND INTACT -deadeye-
I'm back from my little campout. I saw a couple good-looking girls while I was there, so it was worthwhile. Anyway, now for the good stuff. I took my first screenshot of Half-Life for the PC, which you can view here. I will make many more screenshots for you potential Half-lIfe fans, as well as some PD shots. I've also got an idea for a special being titled, "Half-life vs. Perfect Dark", which should be interesting.

DOWN IN THE WOODS -deadeye-
I'm going camping for the next few days, so I won't be around. When I come back I'll add some more PD2 info and some screenshots. Be sure to check out the new message board and sign-up (free) so you can chat away while I'm gone. I'll see you Sunday or Monday (maybe even Tuseday).

OUR NEW MESSAGE BOARD -deadeye-
Ah, it's about time. I decided to take the time to get a decent message board instead of using that ad-infested ezBoard that is starting to blow. The new board is so much better. Check it out here. Moderator positions are available, so register and start posting while you can. I won't be accepting mods until you have 15 or more good posts. I hope all of you will make good use of this new board, as I didn't set it up for nothing.

HOLY CRAP! -deadeye-
If I get around to it sometime I'll upload a holy crappin' amount of screenshots for you. Just for the heck of it, I'll make some Half-Life shots for you as well, even though it has nothing to do with PD. It's just a suggestion... You can play Half-Life and Counter-Strike multiplayer while you wait until PD comes out in late 2002. My best guess is that it will come around September or October of 2002; a long wait. Speaking of Perfect Dark, I've got a little tidbit of more PD2 info for you (I didn't add it to the PD2: Latest Info page yet). PD2 will have editors for both single player and multiplayer. If I received the info correctly, the mlti editor will allow you to make te multi level sort of like a mission level: you can place sims (friendly and enemy) anywhere on the level to act like guards, I guess. I'm not sure how it'll work out, but we'll get the confirmed news sooner or later.

LONG TIME, NO UPDATE -deadeye-
I haven't received any new PD2 info from my source since the last update, which is why I haven't bothered updating the past few days. To add on to that, I've been very busy. I don't even have time to answer the Question of the Update, which I'll try to answer in the next update. If you're bored, just give RareDark.com's Message Board a quick visit and give it a post or two. It hasn't seen much action lately.

Added a flood of information to the Perfect Dark Zer: Latest Info page. Some stuff about the control style, some multiplayer stuff, and various other little facts. Oh, I'll answer Question of the Update number 20 soon.

EVEN MORE PD2 INFO -deadeye-
Oh yes, even more PD2 info has been added to the Perfect Dark Zero: Latest Info page. This time I added some stuff about enemy A.I., blood, graphics, and even some stuff about multiplayer.

NOTICE:
RareDark.com and only RareDark.com receives the latest PD2 info first. IGN and other major sites receive this information weeks later than us. Please check back with us everyday for the latest info concerning PD2.

D-DAY IS HERE! -deadeye-
Well, not exactly, but it is the anniversary of the Normandy Invasion off the coast of France during the Second World War, which was the largest amphibious assault in military history. Anyways, the Perfect Dark 2: Latest Info page has been updated with heaps of info, which includes stuff about vehicles, a couple weapons, and various other subjects. Keep checking back with us first everyday for the newest info.

ANOTHER AFFILIATE -deadeye-
We are now affiliated with yet another website, NGC X-treme. They feature the latest Nintendo GAMECUBE news and articles. Also check out their message board.

Answer to Question #19:
In "Maian S.O.S.", you start off with no weapon. There is a psychosis gun on the table just outside the operating room, however, which you use to shoot the doctors to get out of the room.

Question of the Update #20:
How many single player levels are there in total?

NEW AFFILIATE -deadeye-
We are proud to now be affiliated with a great site, RareShooters.com. Check it out. Downloads, cheats, music, reviews and everything else that deals with RareWare's first-person shooters.

Answer to Question #18:
There are a total of three one-hit kill weapons, excluding the explosives. They are: the tranquilizer (second function), the crossbow (second function), and the DY-357 LX.

Question of the Update #19:
In the level "Maian S.O.S.", what weapon do you start off with?

PD2 INFO ADDED -deadeye-
I have added even more information on Perfect Dark Zero to the PD2 Latest Info page. There's some stuff about the weapons and even about one of the levels. Keep checking back with us everyday to get the latest PD2 info. Keep in mind, we bring you this info before anyone else can.

NEW LOOK -deadeye-
If you're a frequent visitor you may have noticed the slight change in the layout colors. Much better, I must say. Not only have the colors changed, but now this website is viewable with all browsers and most resolutions. So far I've only gotten around to adding the new layout to this main page, but you can expect all other pages to eventually have this layout.

Answer to Question #17:
The RC-P120's average fire rate is 1200 rounds per minute, I believe.

Question of the Update #18:
In Perfect Dark, how many of the weapons have one-hit killing abilities?

MORE PD2 INFO -deadeye-
I added some more information on Perfect Dark Zero to the PD2 Info page, thanks to our special "source"... Remember to keep checking RareDark.com each day for the latest info on PD2. Also remember that we get this info before anyone else because of our "source". Oh, and the Question of the Update will be answered later today, for those who enjoy them.

FRESH NEW PD2 INFO -deadeye-
I put up a whole entire page of brand-spanking new Perfect Dark Zero information. Check it out here. Remember, RareDark.com will continuously provide you with the most recent PD0 info, even before most other websites in some cases. Keep coming back for the latest info.

NEW LAYOUT, ANYONE? -deadeye-
I am thinking about changing this website's layout slightly to allow for faster loading times, all-browser compatibility, and all-resolution capability.

Answer to Question #16:
Perfect Dark was delayed a total of two times, the first date being December, which was delayed to April, which was delayed again to May.

Question of the Update #17:
In Perfect Dark, what is the RCP-120's average rate of fire?

RARE USED MY SUGGESTION? -deadeye
This is some very, very interesting news. A few months back, around early February, I wrote a storyline (which is located here) for Perfect Dark 2 and sent it to RareWare HeadQuarters. Well, you should know by now about the name for the next edition of PD (see May 16 update), which is "Perfect Dark Zero". Why is it PD0 instead of PD2? Because, according to the most recent info, PD0 takes place before Perfect Dark for the N64 system takes place. If you read my storyline, you'd know that my storyline takes place in the "past" (in other words, it takes place before 2023, which is PD's time area). This is very interested. Although, I probably shouldn't jump to conlcusions so quickly, but then again, you never know...

GAMECUBE RELEASE DATES -deadeye-
So far, here are the planned release dates for the NINTENDO GAMECUBE: Japan > 14 September 2001; North America > 5 November 2001; and Europe > 2002. The GAMECUBE will sell for a price near $200 (American). Not too bad of a price, considering this machine will be one of the best out there for its time.

PERFECT DARK'S ANNIVERSARY -deadeye-
Wow, it's been one entire year since Perfect Dark was released. For some reason the time just flew by. One year ago tens of thousands of North Americans were calling up their favorite videogames and ordering their PD, or flocking to stores as soon as PD hit their shelves. For some reason I still remember the day I picked-up Perefct Dark. It was the 23 of May, 2000, on a Tuesday, I belive. I remember playing the first mission for the first time, my mouth wide open in awe from the sharp, crisp graphics, from the stunning reflections of light, from the interesting music, from the realistic shreaks and cries from the bloody guards, and from the slightly different feel of the surroundings. Heh, I also remember waiting for months and months for the game to be released, downloading every new movie and every new screenshot to look at in awe. I remember being XXXXed off when every new delay was announced. Ahhh, those odd memories will haunt me forever... Until Perfect Dark Zero comes out for the GAMECUBE, that is...

Answer to Question #15:
When you pick up a floating rocket in Goldeneye it says, "Picked up a null."

Question of the Update #16:
How many times was the release date of Perfect Dark delayed?

SCREENSHOTS COMING YOUR WAY -deadeye-
Yep, I'm currently working on getting some more screenshots up. I am thinking about adding screenshots of places where you can't go in the combat simulator, since pics of places where you can't go in Solo isn't enough for you. I am also working on making some new "Sniper Views" for you.

Answer to Question 14:
These are all of the possible alien weapons found in the solo mission "Skedar Ruins": Reaper, slayer, mauler, and phoenix. To get a phoenix, you must destroy all of those big pole thingies (the things you put the amplifiers on). After placing the amplifiers on the correct poles, get out your devastator and blow up the remaining poles. Head on over to where the big huge crack/canyon is, and right on the edge are two phoenixes.

Question of the Update #15:
In Goldeneye after doing the "floating mine trick" in the bunker, you can also make rockets float. When you go up to the floating rocket and pick it up, what does the text on the screen say? Hint: Picked up a _____. (Fill in the blank)

PERFECT DARK 2 NEWS -deadeye-
Been wondering what Perfect Dark 2's name is going to be? Well, wonder no more. There is a PD 2 in development as you read this. The name for the game: Perfect Dark Zero. And no, I have no idea on what the "zero" means. You might want to add the following link to your favorites (or bookmarks), for in the future this link will be updated with the most recent PDZ news. Remember, RareDark.com will constantly update you on the progress of PD2, as we did PD1 more than a year ago. You saw this news first at RareDark.com. Oh, and great thanks goes to PDJohn for informing me of this. Here's the official Nintendo PDZ website that will be adding info on the next PD: http://www.nintendo.com/games/gamepage/gamepage_main.jsp?gameId=604.

WEAPONS PAGE UPDATED -deadeye-
The incomplete Weapons Page has been updated, so all weapons up to the Dragon are listed and explained. Screenshots of each weapon will soon be added as well.

Question of the Update #14:
In Perfect Dark in the solo mission "Skedar Ruins," what are the names of all the possible alien weapons that can be obtained (without the use of cheats)?
