MORE PD2 INFO ON THE WAY -deadeye- I got around to requesting more info from my source, so hopefully I'll get more out of him. Adding onto that, I'm currently working on a page summarizing all of the latest PD2 info, which I will complete shortly. My summary of the info will also be viewable at PDZero.com.

WHY? -deadeye- I've been getting e-mails asking "Why wasn't PD0 at Spaceworld?" Hey, I don't know. Because RareWare came to a final decision that Japan isn't the best place to reveal the game. I can almost guarantee we'll see PD0 at the next E3, where they seem to be more interested in showing-off their stuff (not that stuff...)

THE POSTMAN HAS ARRIVED -deadeye- Can you believe it? I finally finished last week's mailbag. I think I can get by with calling it "this week's" mailbag. Sorry about the delay. Anyway:

YOU 'BETA' GET CRACKIN' -deadeye- Did someone say beta? I'm currently working on a special about the beta versions of Perfect Dark. It's going to be huge. It'll have more information on the beta versions of PD than you'll be able to handle. Hopefully I'll finish it sometime before this month is over. On a side note, yeah, I'll try to get this week's mailbag up by the end of the day. I still have to answer some last-minute questions.

GAMECUBE CONTROLLER AUCTION DELETED -deadeye- The stolen GAMECUBE controller that was on auction at eBay was taken down. Oddly enough, the bid was up to $14,999.99. It was probably a Nintendo loyalist or a Nintendo employee that made the outrageous bid so that nobody could buy it before the auction was taken down. For those of you who didn't get to see the auction before it was taken down, I've got a little present for you: I took some screenshots of it. ~ Top part of auction ~ Bottom part of auction (description, image, etc.)
NEW MESSAGE BOARD -deadeye- I couldn't get the old message board working again, so I had to register for a new one and start over. Expecting this week's mailbag? I'll get it up later today or tomorrow. ~ New Message Board

GAMECUBE CONTROLLER ON EBAY -deadeye- You read it right. Someone stole a GAMECUBE controller from E3 by snipping-off its cord--and decided to make a few bucks by putting it on eBay. Click here to see the controller's auction at eBay. > Click here for a picture of the stolen controller.

WANT TO BECOME A STAFF MEMBER? -deadeye-I'm finally back from rappelling off of cliffs. Man, am I sore. Oh, back to the headline. I am now accepting applications for new RareDark.com staff members! I will accept two staff members: a columnist and *gasp* a head staff member. The head staff member would just pretty much take care of the site, update the mainpage, work on new pages at will, etc. The columnist will just write interesting articles concerning PD and PD0. Requirements:
Columnist- > No HTML knowledge necessary > Creative > Like to write
Head staff member- > HTML knowledge is a must > 14 years of age or older > Must show an example of your HTML work
I will accept only one columnist and one head staff member. E-mail me at deadeye@raredark.com if you are interested and you meet the above requirements.

BUDDY ICONS ADDED -deadeye- I have added two more AOL IM buddy icons/ezBoard Personal Photos to the Buddy Icons Page. Added an animated terrorist icon. For those of you who have submitted something within the last week, please don't be surprised if you don't see it up on the site right away. I've been busy and I have quite a bit of submitted stuff to put up (see below).
WOW -deadeye- This is going to be a very active website this week. I've gotten many submitions of various things, like Challenges, quite a few New Gun Designs, some very interesting PD2 news (I won't be adding it today, however, so keep checking back everyday for it), and the mail-batch questions have been pouring in like water from a tap, which will be answered this Friday.

JUST A LITTLE NOTICE -deadeye- Questions sent to me via the Ask Deadeye page will be answered every Friday, starting next Friday, in a mail-bag type page. Another thing, I will soon be upgrading all of the pages to the latest layout. Just a small layout change was made (the addition of the "specials" and "Ask Deadeye" sections), but every page needs to be upgraded.
REAL GAMING GUNS SPECIAL UP -deadeye- I've finally finished the first part of three of my latest special: The Real Guns of Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and The World is Not Enough. Check it out. It's worth it.
CAUGHT UP WITH THE TIMES -deadeye- Wow! I've actually caught up with the 21st century and decided to add a "mail bag" for this website, called "Ask Deadeye". You can access the Ask Deadeye page by clicking on my cartoon character on the right-hand navbar under "Other/Hot". This will bring you to a form for you to ask your question. More details can be read on the Ask Deadeye page. When I get enough questions I'll answer them and post them on the site.

MORE UPDATED PAGES -deadeye- The New Weapon Designs page has been added with another creation, and I updated the Latest PD2 Info page as well with the info from my July 25th update.
YOU'LL LOVE THIS -deadeye- As I stated before, I am currently working a special concerning the real weapons that are featured in Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and The World is Not Enough. I must inform you that even thougha couple other sites have a special like this, theirs is nowhere near mine considering accurate info. Because I specialize in firearms, this one has all of the correct info. I will be releasing this special into "sub-specials". When I complete the Goldeneye part I will release that, then a shortwhile later Perfect Dark, and so on. Expect the Goldeneye part to be up on the site very soon.
ANOTHER PD2 WEAPON CREATION ADDED -deadeye- A new PD2 weapon design by Eliteforce33 has been added to the New Weapon Designs page.

HOT NEW PERFECT DARK ZERO INFO -deadeye- I recently found out why my secret "source" hasn't been submitting any new PD0 info to me lately. He was in an accident involving a drunk driver, so he was out for quite a while. But, now he's back, and RareDark.com will continue to provide you with the latest PD0 info. This latest info is interesting: it involves this website RareDark.com! Before I explain, read this info from my source:
"I have been informed that Rare WILL indeed be unveiling PD2 at Spaceworld this August. Finally, the waiting for some official information will be over.
The Level-Editor is coming along beautifully, and will most likely be showcased along with the Mission-Editor. Also, Multiplayer Characters can be fully customised. Including such features as: Height, Weight, Clothing, Head, Hats, Sunglasses, and other such paraphernalia. Also, the storyline has been solidified somewhat during my "vacation". It seems that a certain CI star agent goes missing during an extremely delicate mission. The Institute is curious, and send in another agent after the first. The would-be rescuer discovers evidence that points to time travel. The Institite sends the the agent back in time to rescue the missing agent in the past."
Now for the explanation. Back in January '01 I decided to write a storyline for PD2 when I heard rumors that Rare was making it. When I finished, I thought I did a pretty darn good job on it, so I mailed it to RareWare Ltd. along with some suggestions (stuff saying like it'd be better to have the story take place near modern times so modern weapons can be used). By the way, my story line is located here. My storyline also has "time-travel" in it... For any newcomers to this site, RareDark.com is the ONLY website obtaining this special PD0 news! Not even IGN has most of this info. Keep checking back with RareDark.com for the latest info concerning PD0.
Oh, and one more thing, the new message board is back up again, so give it a visit and some posts before you leave.
