GETTING BORED? -deadeye-
It seems that many long-time Perfect Dark owners are getting bored with the game. You've read about every glitch, every mystery, looked at maps, looked for and found all the cheese, tried to beat your best times, and horsed around a little. Now you're bored. So now what? Xperimental and I are here to help. Sometime next month (hopefully early in the month) I should finish up the most detailed weapons page and even put up one of the longest multiplayer scenerio lists on the internet. I may also put up a page which shows you some fun things you can do, with and without a Gameshark or Action Replay. Once Xperimental and I get these pages up, things will be like the good 'ol days again, when you invited a bunch of your friends over and battled it out in PD.

Answer to Question #13:
In Perfect Dark, in the Chicago Streets level, there are two methods you can use to successfully complete your "Create Diversion" objective. The first and most obvious way is to obtain the reprogrammer from the sewer, go up to the taxi cab, and hit "B". The other method is to find the dumpster in the alleyway with all the oil drums. Push the dumpster closer to a stack of drums. Shoot the drums to make them and the dumpster explode. You should see a little white "Ourumov" style briefcase pop out. Pick it up. Inside is a nifty gadget called a "bombspy". Fly it over to the car lift doors and hit "Z" to create an explosion and kill the bastard guards, successfully creating a diversion. However, this method does not destroy the annoying robot, but is a little funner to do.

WILL BE A ROLL'N -deadeye-
Yeah, my ISP is working again. I am currently working on the new weapons page, which will probably be just about the best on the 'net. It is taking a while to complete because of all the little details and info on each weapon in Perfect Dark. Oh, and welcome back, Xperimental.

Answer to Question #12:
False. There is no way to destroy the G5 robot with the Falcon 2, or with any weapon for that matter, as most of you already know. Which leads me to the next question:

Question of the Update #13:
In Perfect Dark in the "Chicago Streets" level, how many methods can you use to successfully create a diversion (which happens to be one of your objectives)?

OMG -Xperimental-
OK, well I have finally found my backup of walkthrough tips (walkthrough for pd) and uploaded it so it can be found on the link to the left or here. Please note that this was an old back-up and is only upto the Attack Ship, sorry.

And also I have stuck up my AR GUN MODING page back up, it has codes for EVERY GUN and how to mod them, NB: AR is Action Replay, the pal version of a Gameshark. These codes will only work on games that are pal(uk, australia, etc.) and don't work for NTSC. Deadeye once had codes for NTSC but some bastards hacked the website and it got deleted, anyway so those are todays updates.
-Xperimental.

PS. In answer to deadeye's update question thingy I don't think the bot can be killed w/ a Falcon-2, providing you're talking 'bout the G5 Bot.

WHA? NO UPDATE? -deadeye-
My internet access is down right now, and was down yesterday as well. Right now I'm using my very slow back-up ISP.

Answer to Question #11:
In Perfect Dark, you start out on the Carrington Villa with a laptop gun on Perfect Agent, belive it or not. Just press the "A" button to bring it up in case you never noticed.

Question of the Update #12:
True or False: in Perfect Dark, there is a special method you can use to destroy the robot with the Falcon-2.

MUSIC PAGE COMPLETE -deadeye-
I finally put up the Music Page for you to enjoy. There aren't many songs on it right now, but it'll grow. Currently, the artists are unknown.

EGGIES AND LITTLE PINK BUNNIES -deadeye-
Have a great Easter today. Don't get too fat on chocolates and all that other good stuff. Expect some movies, screenshots, and buddy icons coming up soon. I still have to make a new weapons page and put up some midis. Fooie.

Answer to Question #10:
True. In the early stages of Perfect Dark's development, you could have doubles of all weapons, like and goldeneye, and you could hold pistols in three different ways. However, reload animations were not in at that time.

Question of the Update #11:
In Perfect Dark, what weapon do you start off with in the mission "Carrington Villa" on the Perfect Agent setting?

MORE PICS -deadeye-
Ha, one whole new page of pictures of Inaccessable Places. Check it out, it's interesting.

MORE? -deadeye-
Sorry for not answering the "Question of the Update" yesterday, I'll get it later today. Anyways, I am going to add even more pics to the "Inaccesable Places" section to feed your greedy eyes. Expect a whole crapload of new pics of inaccessable places sometime today. In fact, there's so many new pics to add that I'll have to make a "page 2" to allow for less loading time. After I finish them you'll be able to see every inaccessable nook and cranny in dataDyne, as well as a few more places from other levels. Someday I'll have to divide the section into different levels because there will be so many screenshots and so much info on all the little nooks and crannies in Perrfect Dark. Oh, you'll love it, indeed. It's my little Easter gift to you.

Answer to Question of the Update #9:
There are 25 steps total in the Combat Simulator level "Felcity" in Perfect Dark.

Question of the Update #10:
True or False: in the early stages of Perfect Dark's development, it was possible to use doubles of every weapon in the game, and you could hold pistols in a variety of different positions.

NO PEEKING -deadeye-
I added a few shots to the Places Where You Can't Go page. They include a few shots of the Villa, a shot underneath a floor in A51, and a better shot of the area behind the "island" in the villa. Oh, the answer to the Question of the Update #9 will come later today.

Tuesday, April 10, 2001
OH, SO SOON -deadeye-
Oh, yes, I will shortly put up some more pics of places where you cannot go in PD, and then maybe I'll put up some pics of places where you can't go in Goldeneye. I am also putting up a "Hoaxes" section along with a pic of the famous "Ark Hives" hoax.

Answer to Question #8:
True. With a game enhancer (Gameshark or Action Replay) it is possible to play the single player level "Cradle" in multiplayer in Goldeneye.

Question of the Update #9:
In Perfect Dark's multiplayer level "Felicity", what is the total number of steps on all the stairways combined?

Thursday, April 5, 2001
EXPECTO -deadeye-
Expect some more pics of places where you can go, a staff bio page, and the links page to be updated.

Answer to Question #7:
The FN-P90 uses magazines that can hold up to 50 5.7mm rounds.

Question of the Update #8:
True or False: In Goldeneye, it is possible to play the single player level "Cradle" in mutliplayer.

MYSTERIES UPDATE -deadeye-
The Mystery Page has been updated with a couple new unsolved mysteries, written and submitted by Githon.

Answer to Question #6:
You can obtain two silenced Falcon-2's from a guard in dataDyne 1.1.

Question of the Update #7:
In Goldeneye, the RC-P90 can hold 80 bullets in a magazine, which is incorrect. The real name of this weapon is the FN-P90. How many bullets does the standard magazine of a real P90 hold?

RAREWARE AND FANS INTERACT -deadeye-
Over a year ago, when Perfect Dark was still be developed and fans were dying to play it, Rare wanted to make the "perfect" game. They wanted to add things and modes that fans would want. So what did they do? They turned to their loyal fans for ideas to put in Perfect Dark! It's true! PDark.com, probably tho most popular and most visited PD site on the net, used to have an eZBoard (message board), which Rare probably turned to for ideas. I posted there, and I found one of my old topics which was "post some ideas for multiplayer". Ironicly, there are many ideas stated in that topic that were put into Perfect Dark, such as a "fort-like multiplayer level", and "the vents in Facility should be extended and you should be able to climb up the big pipes and stuff". Notice that's what they did... You can read the topic here and see for yourself some of the fan-made ideas that were put in. Go check it out! It's interesting.

Answer to Question #5:
Perfect Head is the name of the scrapped idea that allowed you to place your head in the game. Strange name... Oh, and yes, I get "Perfect Head" all the time.

Question of the Update #6:
In Perfect Dark, in what level can you find two silcenced Falcon-2's?

NEW POLL -deadeye-
It's about freaking time. A new poll has been placed on the right-side navbar.

Answer to Question #4:
True. In Goldeneye, it is possible to actually open the top of a silo in the "Silo" level.

Question of the Update #5
What was the name of the feature in Perfect Dark that allowed users to actually place a picture of their face in the game and map it onto a multiplayer character, but was scrapped just before release?

HOOBY DOOBY -deadeye-
Expect a burst of new and better sections soon, such as fanart, music, gaming jokes, a FAQ, and a few more plans... I haven't been getting too much done lately, being the busy man that I am.

Answer to Question #3:
In Perfect Dark when you destroy the dataDyne attack chopper, it says "Destroyed DataDyne helicopter", the first "D" being capitalized. In the early stages of the game, RareWare was debating whether or not to spell out dataDyne with two capital D's or just one. While changing the text in the game after deciding, they must have forgot about the "destroyed DataDyne helicopter" text, which is why it's the only "dataDyne" phrase with two capital D's.

Question of the Update #4:
True or false, in Goldeneye, you can actually open one of the missile silos in the single player level, "Silo".

MISC CRAP -deadeye-
Due to the popularity of the "Places Where You Can't Go" page, I will add a few more pictures of different places of where you can't go. They will be interesting.

Answer to Question #2:
60 Character bodies are available in the Combat Sim

Question of the Update #3:
In Perfect Dark (64), when you destroy the dataDyne attack chopper in the third level, does it say "Destroyed DataDyne Helicopter" or "Destroyed dataDyne Helicopter"?

RELAUNCH STARTED -deadeye-
Finally, I've started work on Project Bet5, which stands for the Deadeye's Basement relaunch. As you can see, a few of the sections that were hacked and deleted are back up again, there are a few new sections underway, and a couple of the ads on this here mainpage are gone, leaving only one at the top and one at the bottom. Expect all of the pages to be updated/fixed by next Monday.

Answer to question #1:
Chesluk Industries

Question of the Update #2,
In Perfect Dark, how many multiplayer bodies are there total?

Sunday, March 25, 2001
NEW INTERACTIVE IDEA -deadeye-
I decided that after every update, I will ask a question about Perfect Dark or gaming in general. For fun you can try and figure out the answer. Speaking of the answer, the question from the previous update will be answered, and a new question will follow. So, today's question will be answered with the next update and a new question will be posted.

Question of the Update:
In Perfect Dark, what fictional company makes the RC-P120?

LATEST PLANS -deadeye-
My latest plans are to:
* Fix and update the reposted pages
* Add a Midi section
* Make new maps
* Make a new poll page
* Make new Sniper Views(tm)
* Update the links on all pages

Hopefully I'll be able to get a lot done. Expect to see RareDark.com boom with new sections like it did in the "good 'ol days".

DELETED PAGES BACK UP! -deadeye-
Yes! I've gotten some of the hacked pages back up! Please note that these pages are in their beta stages (not updated/fixed), so the links and images may not work, etc. but at least they're back up. Here they are:

Perfect Dark 2 Weapons
Secrets
SimTactics
Sniper Views
GameShark Codes

These aren't all the pages that were deleted. The rest of the deleted pages weren't saved:

animations
