The RareDark.com affiliation requirements have recently been
strictly tightened, and the new requirements will be in effect as of
the 28th of November, 2001.
You want to affiliate with one of the best and unique Perfect Dark
and Perfect Dark Zero sites? Good choice! You have very good taste.
RareDark.com has provided a unique source of fun and information
for its visitors well before the release of Perfect Dark
for the Nintendo 64 game system. Although many staff members have
come and gone, I, "Deadeye006", will probably stick around well
into the release of Perfect Dark Zero for the Nintendo
GAMECUBE to continue to bring you the best and latest info, tips,
cheats, and unique features.
Now we come to the good stuff. You want to affiliate with
RareDark.com. I believe an affiliation is not only a way to
bring in more hits, but also a way for two websites to rely
on each other and in turn become stronger and better by
sharing info and helping one another when needed.
This website receives around 400-900 unique hits per day,
and that average is continuing to grow.
I will gladly accecpt most sites, as long as they follow
these guidelines:
- Website is Videogaming, Firearm, or Military Related
- Website has a navigable layout* (note 1)
- Website has good content
- Website receives 250 or more unique* (note 2) hits per day
* Note 1 - I'm not too picky about how your layout looks,
as long as you can easily navigate from one page to the next.
I understand that not everyone has the gift of creating
layouts that are a work of art.
* Note 2 - A "unique hit" is defined as one hit per computer (or ISP)
in one day based on the visitors' IP address(s).
I WILL NOT AFFILIATE WITH A SITE:
- that has objectionable content (porn, illegal items, etc.)
- that has any content/ideas taken from RareDark.com without previous permission
- that is not videogaming, gun, or military related
- that has lame, boring, stolen, or poorly-written content
- that receives less than 250 unique hits per day. No exceptions! If I can manage to get 900 unique hits in a day, I can expect you to be able to get at least a piddly 250. It took a lot of time, sweat, money, and work to be able to get this many hits. I simply won't "give-out" my hard-earned visitors, content, and news to a site that gets only, say, thirty visitors and has barely any content.
If your site breaks any of the above rules, please do not send an affiliation application. You will be rejected on-the-spot (you will not get a reply).
Applying for an affiliation is easy. Just e-mail

with the subject of "Affiliate", with the name and address of your website,
the average number of unique hits per day, and your
affiliation button (if you have one). Please do not send an application without the name of your website, address, and average number of unique hits in a day, or you will be rejected on-the-spot. If you are accepted,
simply place the following button or a link on a highly viewed part
of your layout on your main page (or every page if you wish).
You are then an official RareDark.com affiliate. To save
the image, right-click and "save as" if you're a PC user.
