Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year you all you at the nest.  This is a very busy time of year. It is time for Family and friends and just the joys of life.
Lets all Spend sometime caring and loving the people around you..

Now also remember It isnt the price of something it is the thought of a gift. 
Even if its something homemade or very small it the thought of getting something   and the thought of giving and not receiving..

One Other thing lets sit down and Think about all the Men and women not with there families or the ones that never will be because of them in the war protecting each one of us..

Also remember Jesus is the reason for the season. Lets give thanks to God.

OCN is looking for the site with the best Winter Theme!

Guidelines for the Top of the Roost Award:
These are the requirements for sites to be considered for the Top of 
the Roost award:

1) Site should show some affiliation with OCN. A member plaque, OCN webring, or OCN page must be displayed on the site.
2) "Two-Link" Rule: This means that an awards advisor shouldn't have to go through more than 2 links to get to your OCN plaque, webring or page.
3) There should be some content in your site that pertains to the 
season we are in. If we are doing fall awards, then we would like to 
see some "fall" content in your site.
4) No "under construction" or "coming soon" sites will qualify.
5) Sites will also be judged on look. We will be looking at site 
organization also. Smooth navigation structure is a plus.

 Be sure to follow the guidelines, or your site won't be looked at.  The awards committee starts looking at sites September 15.  If you need a member plaque let Cattz know and she can get you one made before
then and get it sent to you.

Christmas Cheer
 
Here comes Santa and he wants to say 
“Hope you have a great Christmas Day.” 

A day filled with happiness, joy and love, 
With reverent thoughts of God up above. 

A day to appreciate the life that we live, 
Not just to think of the gifts that we give. 

We’ve hurried and scurried ‘til the shopping was done. 
Now to relax and enjoy the fun. 

Little ones waiting for Santa with glee. 
A wonderful thing for the grown-ups to see. 

Hug them and love them and tell them “good night.” 
They’ll wake in the morning with eyes shining bright. 

Early -- too early -- they’ll head for the tree. 
But, oh what a joy for you and for me. 

Merry Christmas to all and the ones you hold dear. 
May your day be filled with warm Christmas cheer.
