REUNIONS & CONTACTS
as a result of this website
REUNION - Nigel Palmer
Aug 2003

The most satisfying result of the work I've put into this website has been the renewal of contact with Nigel Palmer, who found the site simply by typing his name into Google

Nigel now stays at my place for a few days every Summer.  This was an extraordinary and totally unforeseen consequence of putting this site on the Net.

REUNION - Tony Bolden
Jan 2004

As a result of the reunion with Nigel (see above) I have now also met Tony Bolden again after 45 years!  Nigel arranged the meeting.  Tony has emailed a school photo from 1954 which includes himself and me.

CONTACT-Terry Greenham
March 2004

I'm delighted to report that I have now had a message from Terry Greenham, who also features in that Underhill School photo (see  REUNION - Tony Bolden, above).  Terry lives in New Zealand, so a meeting is unfortunately not very likely.

REUNION-Tony & Mae Ansett
May 2004

It is with the greatest pleasure that I can report another spectacular renewal of contact through this website.  My cousin Tony Ansett and his wife May found the website while researching the Ansett family.  They put a message in the Guestbook, to which I replied.  I have since stayed with them for a few days.

UNDERHILL SCHOOL CONTACTS
August 2004

I was thrilled to be contacted by two more people who were in my class at Underhill School in 1953/4 - Pat Gardner and Iris Crawley (to give them their maiden names).  Iris has also been in touch with Jill Biggadike.  They have helped me put a few more names to faces in that Underhill photo

REUNION - Brian Hond
Dec 2005

Another member of my small circle of friends from Queen Elizabeth's School days, not seen or heard of for 45 years until now!  I made contact with Brian through Friends Reunited, rather than through this website.  However, I was then able to put Brian in touch with Nigel (see REUNION - Nigel Palmer above), and they now meet regularly.  Brian and his wife have since visited me.

Further contacts from Queen Elizabeth's School days
can be found on my (very) unofficial QE website
