| This was one of a number of photographs taken in or around 1952 in the back garden of 110 Normandy Avenue by an unknown photographer. I can't remember this session and have only just found the photos. The fact that my grandfather is not among them probably means that they were taken after he died in 1952. I would have been 9. My love of untidiness that shocked and exasperated many people in those rather starchy times is apparent here, despite the grrooming I probably had to undergo before the photo could be taken. |
